- Sarah Palin has endorsed Todd P'Pool for attorney general, at least that's what his people say. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt, because who would claim such an awful thing if it weren't true. In the next few days you might actually get a call from Sarah Palin (don't get too excited, fellas, it's automated) urging you to get out the vote for P'Pool.
- The Bluegrass Politics blog over at the Herald Leader has a couple of watchdog articles. The second story is about $56,000 that the state has spent on a security building near Steve Beshear's farm.
- With quarterback Morgan Newton hobbling around, true freshman Max Smith will get the start in UK's matchup with Misissippi. Meanwhile, Rich Brooks and his wife Karen are selling their Nicholasville home and leaving the state. They also own a place in Oregon.
- UK basketball fans will learn about the fate of Stacey Poole, Jr. by Monday. Not that it makes it a huge difference, but if he decides to stay then maybe Poole will realize it's time to step it up a notch.
