Kernel Gets Shut Out

UK's media department has banned a Kentucky Kernel writer from media interviews.  This is punishment for contacting the two new walk-ons (see below) for the UK basketball team.  The article in the Herald Leader talks about first amendment rights and all that fun stuff.  Seems a little harsh for the school's newspaper, though Aaron Smith did break the school's unwritten policy about contacting student-athletes without asking permission.  And DeWayne Peevy don't play that!
