Last night, the Kentucky Tonight Forum featuring the gubernatorial candidates lacked one candidate in particular - the governor himself. Beshear has been staying from his opponents, nurturing an ever-expanding lead over Republican David Williams and independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith.
The debate was over education and Beshear was attacked by his opponents, who questioned his policies and offered some of their own suggestions to help the state's educational system.
