Farmer in the middle of controversy again: This time it's about the new TVs

Richie Farmer is in the news again for buying commodities with tax dollars. If the two mini-refrigerators weren't enough, it now comes to light that the Commissioner of Agriculture's office also purchased two wide screen televisions.  The two 60 inch tvs are located in Farmer's office and in a conference hall across from it. Here's the twist: the Department of Agriculture has responded saying that the tvs were purchased to replace a broken projector which was used for power point presentations. Oddly, the projector to be replaced was quoted to the Department at $1000, less than half the cost of one of the tvs.  Still, they decided to go with the two tvs instead. Guess they have a lot of power point presentations over at the AG Department.
