News From Around the State

Today is a bit of a slow news day, but there are a few things that you should know about.

  • Restoring America is now appealing a restraining order that forced them not to air their attack ads on Governor Steve Beshear.
  • Rand Paul took a controversial stance on pipeline regulations a few weeks and is now, apparently, having second thoughts says Barefoot and Progressive.
  • The job of fixing the Sherman Minton Bridge is going to Kentucky company Hall Contracting, who plan to finish the project by March.
  • Drew Franklin of KSR tells us that Louisville might be heading to the Big 12.
  • Todd P'Pool says that the ads being run against him by democratic campaign committee Bluegrass Committee for Justice and Fairness are inaccurate.
