Jewish Laying Off More Employees

Jewish Hospital says that because they have fewer patients, they will cut 155 jobs.  Over a year ago they eliminated 500.  Maybe this means people just aren't as sick as they used to be.  Probably not.  In an article by the Courier Journal, there is a quote from officials saying that this is why the merger with other churches hospitals is necessary.  Personally, I think this whole ordeal stems from the fact that people are taking health care into their own hands.



Wow... we really need universal health care.
