Sherman Minton Will Be Closed 6 Months
The word from Indiana governor Mitch Daniels is that the Sherman Minton Bridge will remained closed for another 6 months and cost $20 million. A quarter of that figure will be provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Kentucky and Indiana will split the costs. Daniels says that the $20 million buys us another 20 years. No mention of what happens after that but I guess we'll just have to cross that bridge when we get to it... Ya see what I did there? I know. No need to thank me.
