Today's Headlines

  • The Big Blue All-Stars fell to the Villians teams last night, 152-149, as Christian Laettner gave the crowd a treat and got thrown out of the game.  I'd really like it if an all-star UK team would actually win one of these. It's not funny anymore.  You guys are professionals.
  • The three candidates for lieutenant governor gathered for a debate last night, where one of the big topics was tax reform.  Watch the video here...
  • Lexmark is hurting, as profit is less than hoped for.
  • 59 UK athletes (and many other NCAA athletes) have signed a petition demanding a cut of TV revenues received by the NCAA.
  • Kentucky Secretary of State Elaine Walker is expecting a low turnout for the upcoming November 8th election.  She is projecting a 25-28% turnout.
  • While fellow Republicans Todd P'Pool and James Comer do their own "cool kids" bus tour across the state, David Williams isn't planning on just taking his ball and going home.  He's on his own bus tour with K.C. Crosbie and Ritchie Farmer.
  • Potential UK big man DaJuan Coleman will announce his college choice this afternoon at 2:30 ET.  He might be going to Syracuse, but we can keep our fingers crossed.
