Redistricting is Topic of the Week

The big story this week in Kentucky politics is redistricting.  Below is a graphic (via cn2) of what the proposal would lead to:

According to the cn2 breakdown, the first and fifth districts would become more democratic while the second and fourth would lean more republican.  Greg Stumbo has called for a special legislative session to deal with this issue, leading some, especially Republican Floor Leader Jeff Hoover to express disagreement with the House Speakers lil' scheme.
